Two colorful stones from Calico, CA, a site which Louis Leakey explored to much controversy. It is a matter of dispute whether these are geofacts or stone tools, but they are beautiful explosions of color. One stone has a residue of white adhesive on the back where a collector likely affixed it to a board. Stones are sold as a pair and mounted on two custom museum stands.
