A pair of Naga, northeastern India, coiled brass armlet ornaments, Konyak Tribe. These were treasured signs of wealth and prestige amongst the Naga, and would have been worn by important family members. Finely engraved herring-bone designs which meet a radiating star design at mid-section. Similar examples can be seen inThe Nagas, Julian Jacobs, 1998, pages 131-133, girls in Longkhia village in 1937. Circa early 20th century, possibly earlier.
