Shaman's apron from Nepal, circa 1920 (the brass bells likely older). The apron 36 inches long extended, has 6 heavy brass bells, 8 tin bells (about 3 in long each), and a multitude of sun, moon, and round metal discs on its leather holster. It has clear signs of age, and use, and would have been indispensable regalia of the Himalayan shaman in healing and other ceremonies.
