Andrea Wilmsen, Last Autumn´s Dream, Photograph

Wilmsen is a Berlin-based German photographer, moving between Barcelona, Berlin and Los Angeles. She has traveled with her camera extensively through Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Her work has been featured in international publications and exhibited in group and solo gallery shows in NYC, Berlin and Los Angeles, including „Berlin meets L.A.. 2 cities in the mirror of 2 photographers“, Goethe Institute, Los Angeles. Wilmsen has been a grant recipient of the University of Fine Arts in Salzburg in 2017. A selection of her work is also included in the catalogue of Catalan photography fotografiacatalunya.cat, initiated by the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC). More recently she became a member of the well known photographers collective Aff Gallery in Berlin, and will be part of the upcoming curated photography festival Monat der Fotografie in Berlin in October.
