COMMENTS
"State I is an absolute masterpiece. It’s like the first state of Silent Wind in that respect; there is nothing I could do better. It's a tiny print, but so dynamic and crisp. The image works so beautifully. It all comes from oxidation on the plate. I don't think that | used any stop—out at all, just peau de crapaud carried to the nth degree." - June Wayne (Source: The Art of Everything, Robert Conway, 2007)
